Asalam o Alaikum! I’m Aeisha, the founder of EMPOWER.
I’m a 27-year-old wife, a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful children, and a woman on a mission to serve the ummah.

You might wonder what inspired a busy mom to launch a modestwear brand?
The answer is simple yet it carries the weight of a lifetime.

In Ramadan 2021, while expecting my son, I was eagerly preparing to welcome my mother from Pakistan for my delivery. But Allah had a different plan. Just one week before my son was born, my beloved mother returned to her Creator.
Her packed bags made it to me but she didn’t.
Standing there, overwhelmed by grief and reflection, I realized a powerful truth:
"But they plan, and Allah plans, and Allah is the best of planners." (8:30)

That moment changed me forever!

I made a commitment: no more chasing after worldly possessions. I would use what I already had and save whatever I could for a greater cause.

At the time, I had no idea that commitment would lead to the birth of EMPOWER.

Fast forward to Ramadan 2023, I came across a post by a newly reverted sister struggling to find modest clothing. I reached out to help and that experience opened my eyes.
In the West, finding affordable, good-quality modestwear is a real struggle.
You either compromise on quality to afford it, or pay exorbitant prices for something that should be a basic right, not a luxury.

Modesty isn’t supposed to be exclusive. It isn’t supposed to be a “trend.”
It’s a command from Allah; an identity we cherish.
Sadly, much of the modest fashion industry today promotes westernized versions of modesty, watering down its true essence.

That’s when I knew:
I had to do something.
With my humble savings, the ones I started accumulating after my mother’s passing and without any experience in business or fashion, I launched EMPOWER.
